Driving to Derby we passed through Fitzroy Crossing. Once again, not much to see here apart from getting fuel and coffee.

On the way into town, we stopped at the Boab Prison Tree which explained some of the area's unfortunate history from an indigenous people's perspective.

We visited the Derby Wharf, which was fairly unappealing to be honest.

At sunset, we went for a short walk to look at some of the wonderful sculptures installed by a local artist on the tidal flats either side of the town. They provided stunning silhouettes against the setting sun as you can see, and a very popular photo opportunity for visitors.
