On our last morning at Edith Falls, Nicole and I hiked to Long Hole Pool which is upriver from Edith Falls. We left at 6:00am to beat the heat and were glad we did. A really pleasant walk and a nice waterfall to look at (and photograph). It was going to be a bit too far to walk to Sweetwater Pool, so we headed back from Long Hole Pool. On the way back we came across a sight we wouldn't have expected. Walking up to Edith Falls Top Pool as we were heading back down, we came across two gentlemen walking up for a swim. Rather than having hiking shoes on, they were both wearing only thongs (the footwear kind) and DT / "budgie smuggler" togs. Nothing else. Quite the sight!
