Christmas this year was different, with just the two of us together and away from home. Thankfully Santa did find the carrots we (and Elfie) left out for him.

After spending Christmas morning doing our clothes washing (and we weren't the only ones either), we drove to the Braybrook Hotel for the Christmas Buffet we had booked back in October. It was very busy for the 11:30am session, but we got a nice booth table.
We had bon-bons, Christmas hats (which we didn't wear) and even a Christmas card from the Hotel.
The range of food on offer was very good, and we definitely had our fill while there.

After lunch we decided to go for a drive down to St Kilda, seeing as how nice the weather was. The traffic was great (as you'd expect) and plenty of people were enjoying their Christmas Day at the beach.

In the afternoon we had a nice game of cards to pass the time. Then we had a video call with Nicole's side of the family plus Katelyn and Jack (Katelyn's boyfriend). I had a nice chat with Dad too.

So, a very nice, relaxing, low-key Christmas Day.
