I was able to tick off another one of my 'Sporting Events Bucket List' by attending the first day of the Boxing Day Test between Australia and India at the magnificent MCG with Nicole. The weather was to be very hot, around 39 degrees.

After having breakfast at Coffee club in the CBDF we headed for the ground.

Our seats were in the top deck of the Shane Warne Stand, providing us with a magnificent view of the ground — and the enormous crowd attending. The official crowd attendance was 87,242!!

The Australian debutant, Sam Konstas, had the crowd really up and about with his unbelievable innings. It only lasted around 75 minutes, however he received a full standing ovation from the entire crowd as he left the ground. Very well deserved.

The rest of the day was somewhat slower after the blazing start to the day, however we both thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the day.
