Set up at the Cobb & Co Caravan Park in Charleville, then got cleaned up to have dinner with Bruce and Maureen Scott. I did some work with Bruce when he was Mayor of Barcoo Shire Council. Bruce has given so much to Outback Queensland (not least of which being the driving force behind getting Jundah, Windorah and Birdsville connected to the internet via a fibre backbone) and it was a real pleasure and honour to have dinner with Bruce and his lovely wife, Maureen. The dinner we had at The Rocks in Charleville was amazing (thanks Tung).
