We set off very early today for two reasons - to catch the sun rising over Baruwei Lookout and to beat the heat of the day. Baruwei Lookout was only a short walk, up many stairs, but was absolutely beautiful at sunrise.

Then it was on to Pat's Lookout. It was a reasonably long hike, a fair chunk of it along the extensive set of mountain bike tracks they have here. Pat's Lookout was amazing, with a great view back along the gorge where we had done our tour the day before.

All up, by the time we got back to the campground we'd walked just over 10km. So, we definitely deserved the ham and cheese croissant and cappuccino we both ordered at the Visitor Centre when we arrived back (looking a little worse for wear and a bit sweaty).
